Baybos Career Day · Wednesday 18 June 2026

Dream Big, Baybos! 🌟

Today is about YOU and your future. What will you become? Let's discover your gifts, explore amazing careers — old and brand new — and see how the world is changing.

Step 1 · Know Yourself

Match your gifts to a career

Every one of you is good at something special. Your gift is a clue to a career you'll love. Answer Uncle B's fun questions and find your match!

❤️

What you LOVE

The things you'd happily do all day — helping, building, drawing, leading, exploring.

What you're GOOD at

Your natural talents — numbers, words, art, sport, kindness, ideas.

🌍

What the WORLD needs

Where those gifts can help Nigeria and the world. That sweet spot is your career!

Step 2 · The World Is Changing

Tomorrow's careers don't all exist yet 🚀

Your parents chose from doctor, lawyer, teacher, engineer — all wonderful. But your generation has a whole new world opening up, powered by Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. Many of you will do jobs that haven't even been invented! Don't only think traditional — think future.

🤖

AI & Robotics

Teach machines to help doctors, farmers and teachers.

⛓️

Blockchain / Web3

Build fair, secure money and apps for the whole world.

📊

Data Science

Find answers hidden inside huge amounts of information.

📱

App Developer

Build apps and games — maybe the next big Nigerian app!

🎬

Digital Creator

Inspire millions with video, design and online stories.

🌍

Green Energy

Power Nigeria cleanly with the sun and the wind.

💡 Uncle B says: "The best news? You don't have to choose between old and new. A doctor who understands AI, a farmer who uses data, a lawyer who knows blockchain — that is the future. Keep your heart open and keep learning. The world will need exactly what YOU can become."

Step 3 · Welcome to Your School Online

This is just the beginning 🎓

From next term, Baybos comes with you everywhere — on this website.

🎮

Learn through Play

Maths, words, memory, patterns, geography and curriculum games — earn stars while you learn.

🎓

Ask Uncle B

Your friendly helper — ask him about anything you're learning, any time.

📚

Your Progress

Lessons, homework and your results — all in one place, just for you.

Welcome, parents & guest speakers 👋

Thank you for inspiring our children today. What you're seeing is the new Baybos digital school — built for a changing world, rooted in 20 years of values. We'd love your child to be part of it.

Our Story · Est. 3rd October 2006

Twenty years of studying to be approved.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed.”
2 Timothy 2:15 — the verse our school is built on
2006 — The Seed

A home becomes a school

Rev. and Rev. (Mrs.) J. A. Oguntona open Baybos Home School at 4 Aswan Street, Wuse Zone 3 — a handful of children, a big vision, and a verse to live by.

2006–2025 — The Growth

A family of hundreds

From Crèche to JSS 3, Baybos grows into 14 classes, ~200 pupils and 40 staff — generations of children known, loved, and challenged.

2026 — The Next Twenty

The digital era

Same values, new tools: digital records, parent reports on WhatsApp, Uncle B’s learning games — a Nigerian school built for the future.

Rev. Mrs. Caroline Oguntona

Rev. Mrs. Caroline Oguntona

“Aunty K” · Founder & Proprietress

Co-founder and the heart of Baybos for twenty years. Aunty K still leads the school today — every classroom, every child, every detail carries her standard of love and excellence.

Uncle B

Rev. J. A. Oguntona

“Uncle B” · Co-founder, in loving memory

Our founding father, whose joy in learning lives on in the school he built — and in the Uncle B who now welcomes every child on this very website.

Life at Baybos

Home away from home.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

One big family

Small, manageable classes where no child is lost in the crowd — and a strong PTA that keeps parents, teachers and management as one family, with a tab on every child’s progress.

📚

Library & Science Centre

A well-stocked library and Science Resource Centre nurture the reading culture and hands-on research — with exploratory materials for every curious mind.

🎭

Clubs & Social Graces

Sports, Literary & Debating, Mental Maths, Creative Arts, Music, Science — plus Ballet, Taekwondo and French. Morning assemblies teach character, elocution and the art of decent living.

🎶 The School Anthem

Sung by Baybos children for twenty years
VERSE 1

Baybos Home School, Baybos Home School
Home of all that’s bright and fair
Built on excellence and hard work
God’s own hallmark for mankind
Called to be one of God’s stewards
To project His love divine
Baybos Home School we proclaim you
For this heritage profound

VERSE 2

As we pass through this great school
We pledge to uphold her ideals
Ideals of our founding fathers
Be the doyen of our time
Striving daily to excel
In our calls and chosen fields
Baybos Home School we uphold you
To be a beacon for the world

VERSE 3

God of glory we implore you
Bless our efforts, bless our school
So we shine forth in this dark world
Children brought up in the light
Exemplary in all we do
Second to none in our fields
Pride of our generation
Approved of God and of man

Privacy & Data Protection

How we look after your information

Baybos Home School is committed to protecting the privacy of our pupils, parents, staff and visitors. This notice explains what we collect through baybos.school, why, and your rights — in line with Nigeria's Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and Act (NDPA).

Last updated: 13 June 2026

Who we are

The data controller is Baybos Home School, a Baybos Ventures company, at 4 Aswan Street, Wuse Zone 3, Abuja, Nigeria. For any data question, contact our front office on 0803 808 4269 or [email protected].

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the school and respond to enquiries:

  • Admission enquiries: parent/guardian name, phone, email, the child's name and class of interest, and your message.
  • Pupil records: name, class, date of birth, admission details, a unique pupil ID, and parent/guardian contacts.
  • Staff records: name, role and contacts; sensitive details such as salary and NIN are held securely and never shown in the portal.
  • Attendance: date, time and the device's location at submission — used only to confirm attendance is recorded on the school premises.
  • Fees: pupil, class, term, amount and payment method.

Children's data

As a school, much of the data we hold relates to children. We treat it with particular care, collect only what is necessary for their education and welfare, and rely on the consent and authority of a parent or guardian.

Why we use it

To respond to enquiries; to enrol and support pupils; to employ and manage staff; to record attendance accurately and on site; to manage fees; and to communicate with parents about their child and the school. Our lawful bases include your consent, the performance of our contract to educate and employ, legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in running the school safely.

Consent — photos & WhatsApp

Where we rely on consent — for example to photograph pupils for school records or communications, or to message parents via WhatsApp — we ask for it clearly and you may withdraw it at any time by contacting the office.

How we protect it

Staff sign in with a one-time code sent to their email (no stored passwords); access is by invitation only and limited by role; sensitive fields stay on our secure back end and are never displayed; and attendance location is used solely to confirm on-site presence. We continue to strengthen our storage and backup arrangements over time.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Pupil and staff records are kept for the duration of the relationship with the school and a reasonable period afterwards; enquiries that don't lead to enrolment are kept only long enough to follow up.

Your rights

You have the right to be informed; to access the data we hold about you; to request correction or deletion; to restrict or object to certain uses; to withdraw consent; and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any right, contact the office. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

Changes

We may update this notice from time to time; the latest version is always here on baybos.school with the date shown above.
